This piece is part of the “All-City” series showcasing NYC five boroughs. Hip Hop was a major part of my influence during the 90s and I wanted to represent each Borough with its respected artist. Uptown All-city represents all the hip-hop heroes I used to listen too or have been influenced by during that time. I was in High school in the 90s and the golden era was ripe with talent style and influence.

The origins of the term “All City” the state of being known for one's graffiti throughout a city. Originally, this term “meant to be known” throughout the five boroughs of New York City through the medium of subway cars.
